Get ready for racing fun with this Home Made Kid Race Car!

MATERIALS

Rectangular Boxes – apple boxes, xerox paper boxes or similar

Colorful plastic or paper plates

Spray paint

Construction paper in various colors

Heavy ribbon

Staple gun

Brad fasteners

Craft knife

Glue and Masking tape

Markers

Foam letters and numbers to decorate

INSTRUCTIONS:

Prepare the Box – Start with one rectangular box for each party guest. If the box has flaps, cut them off with the craft knife. Turn the box upside down and cut out a square area on one side of the bottom (now the top of your race car) huge sufficient to accommodate a child.

Paint Your Race Car - Spray paint your box a bright color – red, blue, green, yellow, or orange.

Attach “Suspenders” - Using the staple gun, staple heavy ribbon from end to end on either side of the box as “suspenders” to concede kids to wear their cars.

Add Wheels – Choose four plastic plates to make two wheels on either side of the box. Use a contrasting color to the color of the race car box itself. Fasten the plates with brads so the wheels will turn. Add another plate on top of the box to make a functioning steering wheel.

Add Headlights and Tail Lights - Cut two circles of yellow construction paper and glue to the front of the car for headlights. Cut two littler circles of red construction paper and glue to the rear end of the car for tail lights.

Make an Exhaust Pipe - Make an exhaust pipe from a toilet paper tube with crepe paper streamers. Attach the tube to the car by making a series of cuts around one end of the tube, flaring it out versus the back of the car, and securing with masking tape.

Personalize Your Race Car - using colored construction paper shapes, markers, foam numbers and letters.

2Struggles with smaller objects

I bought this to measure two things basically: tennis and baseball velocity. After testing the gun at first just on some cars, I was excited because it was extremely accurate. However, once I went to measure baseball pitching velocity and tennis, it was consistently 15-20 mph slow. The baseball pitcher was throwing in the mid to upper 80s, and has been verified by a JUGS gun, and he was topping out on this gun at 73. I wanted this to work so badly because it is a great price, but I believe I will have to return it because it has not been accurate for me on what I wanted it for.

5Great Product For The Price!!!

I am 100% happy with my Bushnell radar gun. I mainly bought it for use in motor sports, four wheeler racing, motorcycles, and various activities involving speed. It uses K band so that is a big improvement from X band. The range on this thing is totally unreal, I can catch someones speed from over a 1/4 mile away, pretty amazing. Bottom line, for this price it is an unbeatable buy compared to the $900 stalker guns. I love this thing!!

5Great battery life

Durable. Tracks mph and gives you a reading of top speed. Seems to be accurate. Reads the same mph as my zooka pitching machine.

Takes 2 c batteries and they are still going strong after a month (probably over 500 readings).

Great for kids and adults. Reads speed of ball coming toward you or away from you so you can use this with 1 person or 2.

Recently brought this to a pool party and the adults had more fun with it than the kids.

The plot pits legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) versus Dracula (the deliciously campy Richard Roxburgh), his deadly blood-sucking brides, and the Wolfman (Will Kemp) in a two-hour parade of outstanding special effects (980 in all) that turn Sommers’ juvenile plot into a triple-overtime bonus for CGI animators. In confederation with a Transylvanian princess (Kate Beckinsale) and the Frankenstein monster (Shuler Hensley), Van Helsing will have to prevent Dracula from hatching his bat-winged progeny, and there’s so much good-humored action that you’re guaranteed to be thrilled and exhausted by the time the 10-minute end-credits roll. 4See the Movie Before Reviewing It

Why do people pan a movie so harshly when they haven’t even seen it yet? I have seen VAN HELSING in an audience preview, and I will tell you that the trailer doesn’t come close to describing the film. As the Universal folks said, the special effects weren’t finished in time for the trailer… but the final product is absolutely stunning.

No, critics will probably not like this fun romp through Van Helsing’s monster adventures. It might not win an Academy Award for its script. But if you liked The Mummy or other epic adventures of its type, you ARE going to be the right audience for VAN HELSING.

This movie is just plain fun. The story pays homage to the classic monster legacy films in Universal’s vault, as well as many modern day adventures. Van Helsing is a James Bond character of dark Transylvania. And his battles against Dracula are a roller coaster ride with non-stop action and vivid, beautiful scenery.

If you’re an art film snob or the type who overanalyzes everything, forget about VAN HELSING. You’ve missed the entire point — badly — and you’ll spoil all the fun. If you like the occasional mindless, delicious, sit-back-and-hold-on entertainment, this is your kind of movie.

The plug (adapter) is not the proper amperage and therefore it will take 5+ hours to charge your phone.

The clips on the sides of the wire are static and don’t bend in to make a smooth in and out connection to your iphone. I’m afraid that if you aren’t careful, you will rip your iphone apart trying to unplug it.

I wanted this to take to work for charging my phone. I was very disappointed. It is useless for the my intended purpose. While the cable works fine for charging my phone from my computer I cannot plug it into an outlet and charge because the adapter plug does not work. The cord itself will not transfer data. Sorry to say , but the item I recieved is not in a working condition. I tried to return it through Amazon but the process is so cumbersome Ileft it mid way. I hope they send me a replacement. The product as of today is not working for me.

4My son loves this game!

My son loves this game! It’s not too hard…He received it as a Christmas present and had beaten the game by New Years Eve. The only thing I would like to have seen differently is they only allow you to play with 5 of Ben’s alien forms…..he’s “Ben 10″ for a reason! Otherwise it’s great, it’s not to violent and if your child likes Ben 10, they’ll probably love this game!

5My 5 year old can’t put this game down (thank God)

My 5 year old says that this Ben 10 game “is awesome”. If we take him out for a nice dinner, we do not dare leave his DS at home or else. This game is fun, requires a lot of interactivity and is a great starting game for a 5+ year old (my 3 1/2 year old is definately not ready for the controls yet).

5Couldn’t find it anywhere else…..

I’m very satisfied with the game. My 6 yr old son wants this for Xmas so I ordered, could not find this anywhere ALL SOLD OUT, qualified for free shipping (even better) and I already have it in my hand. My older daughter tried the game out just in case it was non-operational and it’s perfect! Now she wants it for herself! He’s going to be very happy with this toy! Thanx Amazon!
